"In Germany, the use of before-and-after images in aesthetic surgery is legally restricted. However, it is permissible to present such images in medically indicated cases in reconstructive surgery. Before-and-after images that illustrate an improvement in aesthetic appearance must also include reconstructive components with a medical indication for the treatment. This requirement has been taken into account in all the following images."
